These are only a few thoughts that would lead a person to decide that the solution to his/her situation is to start a home based business and therefore say "I want to work at home."

Many people have that thought cross their minds, but then something happens and they forget all about it or they get discouraged one way or the other. If you asked yourself the question "how can I work from home?" or "where do I begin?" or any similar question, then you should realize that you have covered a distance that many fail to match.

The statement "I want to work at home" is the beginning of overcoming a challenge, while the question "how can I work from home?" is the beginning of journey. Yet the answer is tricky and the way to find such an answer can be tiring, expensive and for many endless.

First of all you will need to decide the following:

1- Do you want:

b. To find jobs that you can work from home?

2- Do you want:

a. An online business/job?
b. An offline business/job?
c. Or Both?

3- If you want to establish your own business do you want:

a. To sell your own products or services.
b. To sell other people's products and services.

If you were able to answer the above questions then your search will become accurate and the likelihood of you getting astray is minimal. This way you will be focused in your research and the various results that you will get will not confuse you.

Usually any person who wants to find the answer to the question "how can I work from home?" is bombarded with message and opportunities that answer all the above see alternatives. In each of the above alternatives there are legitimate opportunities and scam ones. So imagine the double confusion that is happening:

1) Confusion created because the above decisions were not made.
2) Confusion created by all the scam generated from all those alternatives.
